“I received a copy of your video
entitled: “Destination: Gulf Coast” from the Ocean Springs
Chamber of Commerce. I enjoyed watching the video and then
place it among a selection we keep in the bed and breakfast.
A couple of months later one of our guests was commenting on
how wonderful their visit had been to the Coast and how he and
his wife had ‘gotten a great feel for the area’ when they
watched the video. It was then that I started to suggest the
video to our guests as a way to ‘experience’ the Coast – since
many visitors are unfamiliar with our landscape. The results
have been very positive. Guests are more at ease on their
visits once they have seen the video and as a result they have
a better experience of the Coast. I think we are very
fortunate, as a community, to have this tool – to be able to
give our visitors a ‘flavor’ of the Coast. Thank you for
making this video available to small business owners, like
myself.”

“This is an excellent way to ‘SELL’
the Mississippi Gulf Coast in its entirety
-- covering accommodations, restaurants, attractions,
shopping, golf and all that there is to do, see, and enjoy on
a visit to our Mississippi Gulf Coast.”
-- Margaret Miller,
Executive Vice-President of the Ocean Springs Chamber

“Just a note to let you know
how enthusiastically I support your Destination Video. The 10
videos that I received were mailed out in advance of our
annual Mardi Gras Boogie and we had request for about 20
more. It clearly shows the many interesting things one can do
while visiting the Mississippi Gulf Coast.”

“We have dozens of wonderful success stories”,
said Janie O’Keefe, Executive Director of the O’Keefe Educational
Media Group, “For example, Coasting, Inc, a tour and travel
company established over 20 years ago and owned by Bernice Simmons
showed the video to a
bus of 26 people previewing the Coast prior to moving from
Colorado to Stennis. They loved the video so much that they asked
for a copy to take back to Colorado for the 20 people who could
not make the trip. Within days the Colorado organization asked us
to mail many more videos for use in promoting the Coast area to
businesses and families considering relocation.”
“We have had
videos mailed as far as Alaska and an International travel group
from Switzerland recently requested the DVD to show several large
groups and wrote back that it was so well received that they would
now consider the Mississippi coast as a travel destination.”
